Having a wedding photographer for a couple of hours isn’t enough
Bridal prep can be, well, madness. But it’s full of awesome moments, not just prosecco fuelled laughter. It’s the first time anyone will see you in your dress with your bridal makeup and hair. You’ll look and feel amazing and your closest friends and family will be ‘omg’ and I dare say there’s a couple of people there that’ll be pretty damn proud of you. It brings memories pouring back from your childhood and people will wonder how ‘their little girl’ got so grown up. Ah man just thinking about the photos gives me goosebumps.
The morning is the only time of the day you don’t spend with your now husband/wife, they’ll never see how happy you guys were and how the mood went from happy>emotional>nervous>emotional>nervous>happy>proper nervous. They’ll love to see the story of the morning.

Your wedding doesn’t finish after the first dance, so neither do I
Shooting well into the night is important to me, not capturing anything after the first dance is such a missed opportunity. The dance floor mayhem might not be the most ‘important’ part of your big day but it’s definitely one of the most entertaining! Shooting on the dance floor takes years of of perfecting, getting those crazy moves without interrupting your guests and making the picture reflect the mood is quite the skill, it’s made twice as difficult if you’re having a boogie with them.
My couples are a big fan of getting pictures under the night sky and having a laugh with some sparklers. They’re such a contrast to the rest of your day.
I shoot a wedding to tell the story of your big day, not just part of it.
