Wedding Photography in Daventry

Being a wedding photographer in Daventry certainly has it’s benefits, with a plethora of stunning venues, rolling countryside views and hidden gems. I count myself lucky to have all these near me! Whilst you’re here why not check out my portfolio and packages

If you’ve already booked your venue then check out this list of what to do next

Couple portraits at the farm at Everdon

Wood Farm, Everdon

Northamptonshire newest venue is a converted barn on gorgeous farm land, nearby to Everdon woods. The views are simply stunning. They seem to have thought of everything here and having shot their first ever wedding I saw first hand how well the day ran. As a bonus, due to the fact they’re a new venue the prices are a lot lower than you may expect!

Crockwell Farm

If you’ve been on my website before you’ll know how much I love this place. It has tonnes of photographic potential but also they treat their brides and grooms exceptionally. Every time I’ve shot their the couples have told me how awesome it is. There’s not many venues that you can have exclusive use yet still stay the night before and the night of the big day. I’ve even shot there on New Years Eve.

The Gorgeous Mr and Mrs Turner at Dodford Manor

Dodford Manor

One of the busiest venues for weddings in the area (probably the country!) sits in the Northamptonshire country side. There’s gorgeous buildings, mixing old barns with purpose built areas. The venue is particularly well suited for summer weddings due to the awesome courtyard they have, your guests can spend the quieter times enjoying one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen. One tip I would give couples is to find out what time sunset is on your big day and arrange your first dance around that, otherwise it will be missed!

A close embrace with the bride and groom with rolling countryside setting at the Granary at Fawsley

The Granary at Fawsley

This place has it all. They can host intimate sized weddings all the way up to 250 guests. There was a moment that made me realise this place was not just a good venue but a great one; I was shooting the wedding of Mr and Mrs Roberts, I noticed their wedding co-ordinator (who will remain nameless!) getting a bit teary eyed, putting this into context (how many weddings they host but it still means that much to them!) really made me understand how much they care, and I love that. Check out some real weddings from the Granary

Dodmoor House

Sitting on the outskirts of Daventry, just past Weedon is this beaut of a wedding venue. There’s so many reasons to love this place, but I’m going to give you a real story as to why I do. A wedding I shot there in 2018 was going swimmingly (as they always do here!), slightly behind schedule, but swimmingly none-the-less! However the time for their first dance was fast approaching and the DJ was nowhere to be seen. So what seemed to be the entire Dodmoor team got straight on it (along with the incredibly organised chief bridesmaid!) and organised playlists and sound systems to ensure the party got underway. It turned out to be a great night and the couple had so much fun. I’ve been to plenty of venues where the staff would have shrugged their shoulders, not here though, these guys are ace!

Staverton Estate

The Staverton Estate has two areas available for weddings, to host large weddings or smaller more intimate ones. You’re always well looked after here and I’ve always found the staff to be super efficient and helpful. Rumour has it that the couple get a free round of golf the night before the wedding, what an awesome way to relax (or if you’re like me, get super stressed because I’m terrible at golf) ahead of the big day! Check out a recent wedding I shot in the blazing summer heat, it was a big one, 250 awesome people having a good old party!

Warwick House

Ok so you may have guessed that this venue isn’t in Daventry but it’s so close that it deserves a mention. I recommend this gorgeous house because I think it’s as up-market as you can get without crossing over into pretentious, which is a difficult feat to achieve! There’s so much to love, check out some real weddings from Warwick House
