Dodmoor House Wedding with… SNOW!
So you book a wedding at the gorgeous Dodmoor House to be held in March, yeah it might rain, it could possibly be a bit chilly… you don’t expect snow. Well that’s exactly what Mr and Mrs Bamford got, but the show must go on!
Every bridal prep I attend I always try and sense how the brides emotions are gonna go. Sometimes it’s pretty easy to see that ‘I actually feel fine’ is quite quickly going to dissolve into ‘Holy moly I’m about to get bloody married!!!’ However, when Mrs Bamford said she’s feeling good and not nervous at all, she meant it. I count myself to be pretty laidback (it’s in big letters on my website so it must be true!) But because Mrs Bamford is the queen of laidback, no stress, no worries just getting on getting married! Now Mr Bamford carried the pre-ceremony nerves for the both of them bless him. That great big grin of his soon appeared when he saw his bride and stayed for the duration of the day. There’s something amazing about a groom pacing before the ceremony, it’s like no one can warn you about how your going to feel and BAM…emotions!
Their day was filled with some gorgeous country style features and their flowers were stunning, the pair even went and got every board game they could think of to entertain their guests. It’s the first time in years I’ve seen a game of pick-up-sticks! The barn at dodmoor house had an atmosphere you could cut when gran was challenging the guests to some pretty mean games of draughts.
Thanks for having me along guys, it was awesome to see you tie the knot
