The gorgeous Highgate House played host to this blooming awesome couple

I do love Highgate House, not just because it’s gorgeous but because of how damn effortless they make it all.
Moving on to the big day in question! Mr and Mrs Beal are so down to earth, so nice and completely in love that I was always going to have a blast!
Starting with this pair is was clear to see that Mr Beal was feeling the nerves, but he had no trouble showing how happy he was to be marrying his fiancé.
Mrs Beal arrived bringing with her the happiness, madness and awesomeness that encompassed the day. As they met at the aisle I don’t think it would have mattered if they were alone or not, they were just there to declare their love and sign that certificate! After their ceremony their friends and family surrounding them with their well wishes, joining them in a toast or two!
Shooting their couple shots was hilarious, they just bounce off each other and utilising Highgate House’ stunning scenery was simple!
Their wedding reception was so much fun, can’t say I’ve ever heard Skrillex as a second dance before, but literally everyone was dancing!
A massive shout out to Make me Amaze for styling the hair, Classic Carriages of Northampton, Something Borrowed Event Hire and the awesome Vintage music were on the decks
What was completely different to what you expected?
We thought it would be more stressful than it was. Although we have been engaged for 2 years we planned everything within 13 weeks! Everything went so well, no stress at all. Also how our pictures came out, my husband is so photogenic, I on the other hand am not lol, I love all of them even the ones where we’re pulling some funny faces lol
What advice would you give to future bride and grooms?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. We had people not turn up but by then we did the most important thing and that was legally pledge our love. Focus on that and if anything does go wrong by then you wouldn’t care. The important people will surround you 🙂
Do you have any cost saving ideas for future bride and grooms?
Oh yes! Make things, put your own spin on little pieces. We made our centrepieces, parents made our post box, just get people involved! They love that kind of thing and it saves you a lot of time and money because people have lots of odd things lying in the back of cupboards lol
How did you meet?
We actually met in high school 16 years ago, he was the emo guy and I was the straight A student. Although we liked each other life pulled us in different directions but placed us back together 11 years later…better late the never right
How did you/they propose?
It was my birthday, he was actually dropping hints all day lol! Then in the evening (this is going to be so romantic!) I cooked us dinner and he just pulled out a box got on one knee and said ‘will you marry me?’ I was going to say no lol I totally joke! I pretty much was speechless (rare thing to happen haha)
Anything else you’d like to add?
Sure! Don’t forget the principles of marriage, why your making that choice! Never forget your reason why because it stops you from wanting to bury them under the patio when they annoying change their mind on something you agreed to weeks before! But seriously enjoy the day it goes so quickly! Listen to staff they make things so much easier for you. And above all live in that moment where you publicly share your love for each other and your families, and don’t forget to laugh! It’s a wedding not a funeral!
