The lovely Draycote Hotel, Daventry Wedding

Draycote Hotel, Daventry
I’ve known Carlo and Tash for almost two years now, they’re good friends and my second shooter Hamish is also a good friend. Oh and I know the maid of honour too, Claire, she’s ok I suppose. Anyway I knew we were all gonna have an awesome day and it didn’t disappoint, from start to finish we all had a blast.
*Fellow photographer tip; if the bride (who hasn’t yet learnt to drive) and her maid of honour decide they want to take a golf buggy around the course, make sure you’re prepared, I’m glad Hamish was there as I couldn’t stop laughing.
Just a little note about the photography; some of these photos were taken by Hamish Myers, who in his own right is an incredible photographer and is my go to guy for anything photographically technical. He’s a guru and has a very successful career ahead of himself. The images were edited by myself. Me and Hamish have agreed that there’s no need to individually name each photograph with whom took the shot. However credit where credit is due and all that. Plus he worked his bloody arse off.
Back to the big day in question, Tash’s gorgeous dress was from Shop for Brides, Daventry and Carlo and his groomsmen were suited by Salters, Rugby. Cash was in the privileged position of her mum owning a hair salon, needless to say they were in charge of the hair styling, head over their page Medusa Touch, Daventry, who I highly recommend. They did decline to put the rollers in my hair though. The venue for the entire day was Draycote Hotel on the outskirts of Daventry, the venue has some pretty stunning scenery! Carlo and Tash donated £2 per guest as wedding favours, Help for Heroes for the men in attendance and Cancer Research for the ladies. The stationery and Linen were provided by Rainbow Linen Hire and Tash raves about them. Tash got all DIY and made her own bouquets and button holes. The centre pieces were a joint venture between both Mums.
A big shout out to Ava and Rosa (Tash and Carlo’s little ones) as they were little stars, it can be a long day for them but they were happy to pose right till the end! I wish the four of you a very happy life together, you make the best team and the Ardito’s are a pleasure to know.
