Staverton Estate – Daventry
Mr and Mrs Thorne are most certainly a popular pair, everyone loves them and its really easy to see why. They’re both so much fun and bounce off each other but at the same time they bring their own individual personalities. With around 250 guests in attendance at Staverton Estate it was a party of epic proportions!
They chose the stunning Newnham village church for their ceremony and it was just gorgeous, a few happy tears to start the ceremony and huge smiles throughout. They had two wonderful readings that the couple seemed to just love. If you’re lucky enough to have visited the sleepy Daventry village of Newnham then you’ll know how picturesque this little church is. It’s not often we choose to shoot the couple time at the church, it’s usually a case of a few group shots and we’re off to the venue. We shot half of the couple shots here and the rest at Staverton Estate. Which was lovely for Mr and Mrs Thorne as it meant they had some time together before the madness of their wedding reception began!
With it’s huge golf course providing unspoilt scenic views and large suite to host the party Staverton Estate was buzzing late into the evening. I had so much fun and there’s plenty of photographic proof that their guests did too!
A big shout out to my partner in crime Adam, from Ohana Films, it’s always a pleasure to work with a videographer who cares as much as I do about their wedding day.
