2018, the year of brides doing the limbo and awesome weddingy fun
Here we are again, the \’best of\’ post is back! In my post last year I mentioned that politics had gone a bit mad, haha if only we knew! 2018 is the year that had many of us glued to the edge of our seats chanting \’it\’s coming home\’ alas it did come home, just earlier than we hoped, the sales of St Georges flag rose by exponential amounts and we witnessed some of the finest vehicles from around the world sporting plastic flags from the top of their windows, which of course is totally normal. Kanye West changed his name to Ye, thank god because it\’s now even easier to not search for his music. Prince Harry married an American TV star whom we all seem to be obsessed with and had some pretty mediocre wedding pictures touted around… you should have seen the wedding photography groups on facebook, I think I\’ve only just stopped rolling my eyes at the comments.
The Year of 15,000 Wedding Photos
It\’s safe to say that year has been my busiest yet, I\’ve delivered over 15k images to some pretty awesome couples, I don\’t even want to think about how many images I\’ve had to go through in total! I\’ve shot for 35 bloody amazing Couples this year, each and every wedding was unique and it was so good to see the personalisations they did.
A huge huge thank you to all the couples for making 2018 my favourite year to photograph. A special mention to Mr and Mrs Macdonald for choosing me to shoot their Cyprus wedding, I know I worked my ass off for you guys but still, it\’s incredibly humbling.
The images for this post were chosen by my Facebook followers in a voting system, with hundreds of votes it seems a pretty fair way of doing this!
Before I start waffling about everything I\’ve witnessed this year let\’s get on with the photos. Have a good 2019 you filthy animals
