This was my first visit to Slapton Manor and I am in love! Set in a rural village of Northamptonshire, just outside of Towcester. The barn (The Threshing Barn) is one of the best wedding ceremony venues I’ve ever seen, I don’t use this word often but there’s no other way to describe it except rustic.

As a photographer the whole place is a dream, especially when you have a couple like Sarah and Greg. They (and their guests) were so much fun, their reception was a beautifully messy affair, so much so that I booked their band for my own wedding! It’s also a working farm, so Slapton Manor has plenty of charm. I can’t wait to visit again, so click that ‘contact’ button!

Ceremony at Slapton Manor

The threshing barn truly is spectacular. As a guest you are instantly wow’d at the stripped back nature of the barn. Sarah and Greg chose to have a couple of readings, which went down a treat, including a poem read in the style of ‘uptown funk’. Check the photos below for more photos of the ceremony barn.
