There’s something a bit different about Dodmoor House, other venues can make you feel a bit out-of-place, maybe a bit unwelcome? But not here, it’s the setting and the courtyard that sets the initial tone, making you feel relaxed and ‘home’. It’s rather difficult to explain, however it does mean that I get super laidback couples and that makes me a happy wedding photographer!

Neal & Haze transformed the venue to accommodate their Hindu ceremony and wow did it look incredible! Just look at how happy they were. They even had their woofer along (looking incredibly dapper!). You couldn’t find a happier bunch of people than in that room, honestly, both families were beaming and their friends looked on as they welled up.

There’s a lot to be said about wedding photography at Dodmoor House. The light in the barn and bridal prep room is immense, the driveway outside the house is impeccably photogenic. Weather (and time) allowing you can even nip down to the canal. But the real magic is how the venue makes the guests feel. Relaxed guests make my life easier and of course makes a wedding a lot more enjoyable for all concerned.
