There’s something quite amazing about shooting a wedding with ~20 guests. There’s also something pretty special about the Paphos coastal line, from ancient ruins to modern architecture. Mr and Mrs Macdonald chose the gorgeous Leonardo Laura Resort for the their wedding and it had everything you could need for a perfect destination wedding.
The couple chose to marry on the terrace over looking the beach and sea, which they chose due to it’s privacy and views. It was perfect for them and was one of the nicest ceremony locations I’ve ever seen. Cyprus ceremonies tend to only last 8 minutes so it really is a rollercoaster. From bridal prep till they said their goodnights it was a completely relaxed and happy affair. Sitting overlooking the sea digging in to a 5 course meal with candles and conversation looked pretty stunning to me!

I met with Mr and Mrs Macdonald a few times ahead of their wedding and each time I grew to love the couple even more, there’s no fake impressions just a happy little family who work hard and clearly are content with what they have. It’s impossible not to love these guys. On the wedding day I was able to meet their family and I blooming loved them too!! (Can you tell I loved this wedding?!)
We shot their pre wedding shoot the day before the wedding and decided that the beach at sunset was the best choice, it is Paphos after all! It was great fun, so much fun that Mrs Macdonald couldn’t keep a straight face, but I love that, natural photos and complete joy!
I could talk for days about how much I appreciate the couple for choosing me to shoot their memories and how incredible it was to be so closely involved in one of the best times of their lives, but I think I’ve told them enough! I’m hugely humbled and excited to provide their memories for them
