Dodmoor House provided the perfect backdrop for Mike and James’ beautiful wedding, a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. With its charming rustic barns and idyllic countryside surroundings, Dodmoor House was the ideal setting for their celebration.
Morning Preparations at Dodmoor House
James and his team got theirselves wedding ready at their family home, whilst Mike took advantage of Dodmoor House’ prep room, along with his best man and his 2 boys. There was a lot of anticipation in the air as the time for their ceremony ticked closer!
A Personal and Emotional Ceremony
The day began with an atmosphere of quiet excitement. Mike and James prepared separately, taking in the moments before their vows with close family and friends. The ceremony was held inside the intimate barn, bathed in warm light, where their loved ones gathered to witness their heartfelt vows. As they exchanged rings, emotions ran high, and there were few dry eyes in the room. Their love and connection were truly palpable, making for an incredibly special ceremony.
Drinks Reception and a Relaxed Celebration
As the newlyweds walked out into the courtyard, they were greeted with hugs, congratulations, and plenty of cheers. Guests sipped on champagne and cocktails, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere in the courtyard garden. Mike and James took a moment to sneak away for some romantic portraits by the canal bridge and along the tree-lined paths, capturing their love in the beautiful evening light.

The reception barn was decorated with rustic elegance, and the celebration continued with heartfelt speeches that had everyone laughing and wiping away a tear or two. As the evening unfolded, the dance floor came alive, with guests letting loose, enjoying the warm atmosphere, and celebrating the newlyweds.
