A Stunning Private Estate Wedding
There’s something truly special about a private estate wedding, and Nadine & Michael’s summer celebration was no exception. Held at an old Rectory with stunning, extensive grounds, their wedding was a perfect blend of personal touches, meaningful moments, and a relaxed countryside setting.
Bridal Prep
Nadine had hired an Airbnb close to the old Rectory. This provided a very relaxed (and gradually quite intense!) bridal prep for Nadine and her team. Croissants and rum for breakfast was a good shout as they got ready for Nadine’s best-day-ever!
A Heartfelt Ceremony with Music & Emotion
Rather than a traditional legal ceremony, Nadine & Michael chose to have a celebrant-led ceremony, making their vows deeply personal and unique. Held outdoors, surrounded by nature and the warmth of summer, it was an intimate moment shared with their closest friends and family. Adding to the magic, two of their friends played live music—one on the piano, the other on the guitar—creating a beautiful and emotional soundtrack to their vows.
(One week later, they had their official legal ceremony in Stafford, which I had the honour of photographing as well!)
A Private Estate Wedding with Unforgettable Details
Their venue, hosted at Tui’s private home, was a dream setting. Tui, a talented chef and Thai cooking instructor, not only opened her stunning Rectory for the celebration but also provided the catering, flowers, and overall styling. Every element was infused with personal care, from the locally sourced blooms to the vibrant, flavour-packed dishes that guests raved about. The extensive grounds gave guests the perfect space to mingle and soak in the summer sun, while a beautifully decorated marquee became the hub for their wedding breakfast and evening reception.
A Wild Celebration & Packed Dancefloor
As the sun set over the estate, the energy soared. The dancefloor was electric—a true, uninhibited celebration of love, laughter, and friendship. With music pumping and guests giving it their all, it was the perfect way to end a day filled with emotion, connection, and the joy of bringing everyone together in such a personal, beautiful space.
