Elegant Autumn Wedding at Rushton Hall
Rushton Hall is always a breathtaking setting for a wedding, but in late October, with the golden hues of autumn and the crisp air, it becomes even more magical. Avril & Alasdair’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of classic elegance and relaxed celebration, starting with a heartfelt ceremony at Brixworth Church before heading back to the grandeur of Rushton Hall.
A Morning of Excitement at Avril’s Home
Avril and her closest friends and family got themselves ready for the day ahead at Avril’s home before heading onto Brixworth Church. A stretch Limo was her transport and it was waiting for Avril and Alasdair to bring them to Rushton Hall too. The morning was a very chilled affair with some wholesome moments including the dress reveal!
A Timeless Ceremony at Brixworth Church
Brixworth Church, dating back to 875AD is rich in history and stunning architecture, was the perfect setting for Avril & Alasdair’s vows. The atmosphere inside was warm and intimate, as family and friends gathered to witness the couple say, “I do.” Despite a few passing rain showers, the love and joy inside the church made the day feel bright from the start.

Opting for stunning deep blues and gold Rushton Hall really did look as every bit classy as it deserves. The room remained closed throughout drinks reception to ensure the guests received the wow-factor.
Soft Autumn Light & Stunning Couple Portraits
As the newlyweds arrived at Rushton Hall, the weather gave them a gift—a break in the clouds and soft, golden light, ideal for their couple portraits. The historic hall and its beautiful grounds provided a stunning backdrop, with the autumnal tones adding warmth and romance to every shot.
A Grand Celebration & Casino Night
Once inside Rushton Hall, the celebrations truly began. The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches that had guests both laughing and wiping away tears. When it came time to cut the cake, all eyes were on their stunning dark blue, four-tiered masterpiece, which looked striking against the grandeur of the venue.
As the evening continued, Avril & Alasdair kicked off the party with their first dance, before guests were treated to something a little different—a casino night with roulette and blackjack tables. It was a perfect way to bring everyone together, creating an exciting and lively atmosphere that had guests competing, laughing, and celebrating late into the night.
