Wood Farm, Everdon
One of the newest and most rural wedding venues in Northamptonshire is now open for bookings. I had the privilege of being Wood Farms first wedding photographer and man was a it a gorgeous day! I gave myself the title of the best ever wedding photographer they’d ever had… by default, of course, but as a guest pointed out that also means I was the worst by default too!
Everdon is one of my favourite places to visit, the woods are gorgeous and full of adventure for me and my family, the kids love it. I’ve shot a few engagement shoots in the woods too, we once got lost on the hottest day of the year which was fun! So you’d be forgiven for thinking that the venue might have a few teething problems, but it didn’t, it was a perfect day, extremely well organised and the couple had the best time possible.
If you’ve booked in at Wood Farm for your big day then you’re in for a real treat, I can’t wait for my next couple of bookings there, we’re going to have so much fun!
I’m not a wedding snob, I love photographing a small, intimate wedding in the middle of a field just as much as a large stately home wedding… but, it’s not possible to find a bad backdrop at this venue. I’m always a bit hesitant to ask the obligatory question ‘where is off limits?’ to the wedding organiser, but I was told ‘nowhere really, you can go anywhere!’ Which of course is music to my ears, subsequently making me love this place even more!
Wait! Is the food good?!
Let’s be honest, the food is one of the most important parts of the wedding day. Taste provide the catering throughout the day. From a 3 course meal to unlimited stone baked pizza’s it was all incredible (I had to try it, for review purposes of course!)

WOOD FARM STYLED SHOOT Back in September myself, The Garden of Weedon, Candice Fuller, Lilybet’s and Kerrylou Tebbutt took over Wood Farm at Everdon. Challenging my creativity I can never just do nothing, I can’t do it, I have to be busy. If I’m not learning or trying something new then I don’t see much […]
