Weddings at Colwick Hall are already beautiful, but today was made infinitely more so by Dave & Sophie. They got married surrounded by the happiest guests and nicest families you could wish to meet.

Full disclosure… Dave is one of my oldest friends. You know them stories that always seem to have that one friend, that’s Dave and I absolutely love him for it. Flash forward a fair few years and the most down-to-earth guy you could ever meet finds Sophie, and let me tell you, she is wonderful. Completely perfect for each other.
Just a flying visit to their home will tell you how stylish this couple already are. By golly did it show on their wedding day!

The secret recipe for my photography is the relationship between me and the subject. This is made so much easier when you already have a great relationship with the couple. Seeing one of your closest friends holding back the tears as his back is turned to his guests gets you in the feels!
I could rave on for days about how Colwick Hall is a beautiful venue, and really it is, but Dave & Sophie could’ve got married anywhere and it still would have been amazing.
