So this wedding was hottttt! Not as hot as this couple though! Smashing their wedding at Dodford Manor. Bridal prep was a rather busy affair with bridesmaids, dogs, babies, parents, videographer, me and a few visiting relatives. But that\’s what makes bridal prep such a fun part of the day. Amidst the chaos was a very chilled out and happy bride-to-be, taking it all in her stride, I dare say the nerves started to kick in when the dress went on though! It was a great morning and Mrs Scarisbrick Miller\’s parents were the perfect host.
DODFORD MANOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
The couple chose to have their ceremony at Our Lady of the Angels Church at prince thorpe college, as they were both schooled there. There was some lovely readings and both bride and groom commented on how much they enjoyed it, thanking Father Teddy O\’brian in their speech.
Wedding Reception
So this place is gorgeous anyway but the way Mr and Mrs Scarisbrick Miller decorated it made it that little bit more stunning. The drinks reception set the tone for the rest of the day and there was plenty and beers and gin flowing. Their guests were scattered all around the court yard and aside from sitting to eat, they looked very content enjoying the sunshine, giving me ample opportunity to document their day
The evening was a party and a half, Mr Scarisbrick Miller\’s sister sang an acoustic version of Elvis – Cant help falling in love and John Legend – All of me, for their first dance and it was incredible, she\’s extremely talented and it was just perfect for the couple. The dance floor descended into a mass of questionable dance moves and the court yard was still full of people enjoying the setting sun.
